Extract Products to xml
This service is about getting product data from eshop and delivering it in a text file (xml). Our method includes accessing the site as a visitor and no need of any credentials to connect. This file is delivered to you and using it, you can restore your products, copy products from other site, transfer products from one site to other.
About xml
Being a text file, it contains only data written as text. Even images and downloadable files are included. but only as links to the original location. When importing xml, it will see the link, and if it is in the main product images, will copy them to target site. Otherwise, links will remain and the target site, will load the images fron the original location, for every page visit. These are the main features, that needs to be clear for extraction and its relevant services. Keeping the Extraction Images in Backup
Extraction is included in xml and while changes happen, you have saved a snapshot of the data contain to each product. If images change or get deleted, xml will point to the changed or deleted image. This situation is bypassed by the images backup. If selected, then the main products image are copied and a second xml is created, which will link product images to these backed up images. You may select which xml to use when needed.
Note: Images in the backup are only for restoring to your shop, using the extraction xml. No loading links to these images on live shops or websites are allowed.
Other images
Images for manufacturer, brand or any images invcluded in description will be linked to the original location and not be stored in backup.
Note: Extraction and backup, is not a seamless and complete backup of the products. It contains the main data to restore or transfer products and it is intended to boost your efford to acomplish the action.

Note: We do not import the xml (and so the products) to your site. You or your developer should do it. Xml is the most common way to do this and almost all modern shops for many years, include such features.

If you are a returning customer and need to do the same extraction, you have a discount price. This service has the prices for repeating previous order.
Note: the extracted site should have the same code and no changes in its structure has been done, since previous Extraction. In other case, we will contact you for refunding and ordering a new Extraction.
Extend Hosting for Images Backup
Making an order “Extract Products to xml”, you have the choice of creating Images Backup. So even if the extracted site is unavailable, you will be able to import the products images. Now, after one year of keeping theese images, you may need to keep them more. This service is excactly this renewal. Note: that images or xml will not be re-extracted, but kept as is.
So, if you have a backed up extraction and no major changes occured, this is an easy way to keep your backup.
